ECOairflow's MERV 16 Hybrid filters capture ultrafine particles as small as 0.001 microns. This includes viruses, bacteria, wildfire and black carbon smoke, automotive pollution, radon daughter progeny, common allergens like dust and pollen, and other harmful airborne pathogens — providing comprehensive indoor air quality protection for sensitive environments.

The M-Series Hybrid E.A.C. combines passive pleated filtration with powered Electronic Polarization Technology (EPT). EPT electrostatically charges particles, enabling the filter media to capture far smaller particles than conventional filters. Rated at only 2 watts of power consumption, it operates efficiently while delivering MERV 13–16 performance even when unpowered.

Yes. ECOairflow's M-Series filters are UL2998 Zero Ozone Verified by ETL (Intertek), producing ozone emissions below 0.0005 ppm (5 ppb) — well below the UL 867 regulatory threshold of 0.005 ppm. The filters are recommended by the CDC and US EPA for ozone compliance, making them safe for hospitals, schools, and occupied commercial spaces.
